Decade discussion: The 1970s

I have been noticing some well reasoned debate on the forum, discussing exactly how should the 1970s be remembered.
Was this a magical decade full of exotic tinned food and cheeky hooligan football fans or should this be remembered as the decade that invented working class Tories and chronic acne?

….my formative years, I remember it for terrific music but that might be tinged with nostalgia.

Everton had arguably its greatest ever title winning team and it was when I signed for the RS, played at plenty of famous grounds and scored loads of goals

I'm sure at the time everyone must have thought they were the tits... Strutting around like they were the Bee Gee's in that Staying Alive video.

But upon review of this video... Cheesy as fck!
