I think they will need a Gana in the midfield for it to work long term.

I said yesterday neither Doucoure or Allan will offer the sort of protection the likes of a Gana/Ndidi will in playing VDB/Alli together so expect a few 2-2 / 3-2 scorelines between now and the seasons end!

I agree would love the younger version of Gana. Go out and find him Everton. I also don’t think fans will mind the 3-2 score lines as long as it’s Everton with the 3.

No, we got a deal where we didn't have to pay anything up front to keep us right with the FA

I’m more than certain that this is both clubs using loopholes RE English loans. With our FFP restrictions it’s the only way both clubs get this deal done.

He won’t be able to play 20 games as only 18 left and he’s cup tied. It’s basically a 6 month loan deal. But with El Ghazi and VDB we are full. Spurs want him off the wage bill to make way for their new signings.

I’m sure there will be a fee somewhere a long the line in Spurs favour!

I doubt if Bill is clever enough to come up with a plan like that

Yeah I get it about him now nowhere near what he was for the last few years and has become a bit part player for Spurs. It's a risk, one I was against until I saw the financial side of the deal, it's based on appearances, we are obviously up against it with FFP, I foolishly thought we were lashing a big fee at Spurs, we weren't. In that case it's worth the gamble, if it fails we send him back, if it's a success we pay out and I'm fine with that.

Looking at his YouTube clips some of his goals are breathtaking, remember at the time he obliterated Barkley out of the England team and I was gutted for Barkley, but there is definitely a player there an extraordinarily good player, let's see if Lampard can bring it out.

VdB is here for a good time not a long time. I suspect he won't stay beyond the end of the season. I wouldn't be surprised to see him and Alli alternating a bit in our first team for the remainder of the season. It's nice to have some options in the middle of the park for a change!

Frank knows exactly what to do with Deli Allie, how to set him up, we have the best midfield manager in the game! The only problem I see is that Allan, Van de Beek and Deli Allie would all tend to play in a central line, Allan at the rear, de Beek central and Allie up at No 10, so we need to be even more careful out on the flanks.
