More than anything the arrival of Ali, Lampard and Van Der Beek gives some interest for the rest of the season, otherwise it was just a boring second half of the season with exactly nothing worth watching.

I gave that useless Spanish turd the benefit of the doubt, and supported the team and him, as did the majority, until it was patently obvious that he wasn't capable (didn't take long unfortunately).

You and the rest of the Benni's boys kept flogging that dead horse and making excuse after excuse for the waster when we were imploding, and gave stick to us "lesser" evertonians who were calling the fat fraud out.

Haha yep, definitely heard that a few times! I mean once things happen or a player signs more specifically, we as fans can sometimes then just choose to see the positives in a player, which there's nothing wrong with at all as you want to support whoever signs for your club. Until a few bad performances that is and you start to not feel so forgiving
