The good news is he is like this when it comes to the youth players he promotes (Mount, Reece James)Lampard looks far more the "arms around the shoulder" type than the "pretend you don't exist" like Moon Face Koeman.
I think that is what Dele needs. He'll be great for us.

The good news is he is like this when it comes to the youth players he promotes (Mount, Reece James)
The bad news is he's absolutely Koeman when it comes to talented senior players who speak up (Rudinger, Alonso)
I imagine Digne would have equally been sent training elsewhere if he went to Lampard with his powerpoint presentation of personal stats
I wonder if he criticises all players with a Rolls Royce, or just.... select.... ones.I see that heart attack waiting to happen Alan Brazil has been having a go at him for turning up to training in a Rolls Royce.
True, but when the going gets tough (if not this season then next), we need to hope Lampard will have learned from his mistakes. I mean, he tried to freeze out and sell Rudiger? Madness.Digne wouldn't have been asked to play in that manner by Lampard
Eggs mate, he isn't coming here unless it did, he'd have stayed at Spurs or gone to Newcastle….interesting he says he’s never been in better physical shape which suggests to me that playing footy still matters to him.
I see no mention of Van De Beek’s car…I wonder if he criticises all players with a Rolls Royce, or just.... select.... ones.
Well, if we can get Michael Keane deftly floating the ball over opposition midfield and defenders into Dele's path, there may be hope for him yet!I'm sure this will be worked on in training, because Dele is so effective in this way
I'd rather he just wasn't on the pitch to be honestWell, if we can get Michael Keane deftly floating the ball over opposition midfield and defenders into Dele's path, there may be hope for him yet!

did that actually happen? I heard rumblings that he didnt care about the team losing but was bothered by his own statsThe good news is he is like this when it comes to the youth players he promotes (Mount, Reece James)

It’s hit or miss but Pickford is more than capable of a defence splitting long ball and for the two or three that’ll go out for a throw it’ll be worth it for the one that finds Dele in space!Worryingly for me, a lot of his goals came via exquisite long 60-yard passes from Alderweireld at Spurs.
Who is going to provide such assists for us? Keane can't even complete a simple 10-yard-along-the-floor pass to a team mate most of the time, while neither Holgate nor Mina or Godfrey are known for their vision or ability to dink the ball over the top.
We don't have players who can unlock defences which could be disastrous in our relegation fight, and we'll really be relying on Gray now to find Alli with his final ball.
