He came back a stone lighter than he left. A great sign of commitment. He’s probably in his physical peak when you consider his age so the rest is up to him and Lampard getting a tune out of him. Should they achieve it consistently then Everton will have got an incredible bargain. If not then Welcome to the MLS, Dele.

Guess the hope is Lampard knows how to make him want to prove the doubters wrong. Old Tory frank had to himself when uncle arry first started playing him.

Never got the dislike for Dele personally, always seems just a normal lad (with millions fair enough)

Good to hear about him coming back in far better shape though, given he's had to do that away from the club shows maybe something has clicked there.

Summer on the bifters.

Didn't do Lampard any harm back in the day, I suppose.

It's funny how some players are automatically tarred as lazy for their 'lifestyle' choices.

Dom gets similar, despite the fact he's in the greatest shape of any living human being.
Speaking of which see also: “lazy”.

Aye as much as we can tell seems Lampard has put himself out for Dele. He knows a goal scoring midfielder when he sees one so let’s hope it platforms anything like the old Dele, even a 75% version will hugely improve Everton next season.

So I Have tossed and turned with putting this up here. I am only passing on what I have heard from a couple of Boro fans. Their mates bumped in to him on holiday.. They said he was charming ....... and the Everton fans are infectious and they are part of the reason he wants to reignite his career.Pulling up to Goodison on the coach was spine tingling he said.. I don't BS ,just what was told by a fifth party. Take it or leave it.

I hope so mate you know me I’d love nothing more than for him to prove me wrong what with me being a humble Everton fan and all that.

I think he played his best for spurs playing behind Kane but seem to recall he played out LW too and was effective. He could be the reason there's no rush on to replace Richy
The only problem with that is does he have the pace to get past players? Like id honest just have him behind the striker and hopefully get a fast, good crossing winger
