I think, unfortunately, as with many others, he will not be desperate enough to play that he will take a pay cut to do so. This kid is here for two and a half years, or, we give him a pay off to leave early.Very true and that is the risk in what could only be described as a gamble at the time.
In that scenario you’d think a hungry player would be desperate to leave in the summer if it was spelled out by the club.
Really thought Fronk had some inside knowledge of whatever Dele’s issues the last 3 years or so have been and felt confident he’d contribute when he came here.
Looks a bit misplaced now. In this rebuild phase we can’t just be signing players for the sake of it. We’ve already got a load of big flops on huge wages, their contracts are just about up, we don’t want to replace them with more of the same.

Of course, on the upside, he might get in the team and get the form he showed in his early years back. I won't hold my breath though.
