No axe to grind re' Alli but it's odd that he's not featured more nor made much of an impact. Hopefully, the international break has given Lampard the opportunity to turn a few things around. It seems that the transfer was a gamble and unfortunately doesn't look like one that will pay off for us.

Hope I'm wrong and that he makes a positive difference - we need someone to!

What has he done to show he has had a positive attitude. He is supposed to be a class player, if he was so good why did Spurs let him go ?
Show us the stats for passes, chances created, shots, tackles ?

Because he is shot as a player and plagued with off the field issues. A remarkable signing, let alone at £80k a week. Who else would have signed him bar maybe some club in Turkey more interested in signing a name than their performance.

I'm not sure talent is as fleeting as you may indicate. Certainly form is fleeting and energy and application but I think talent is pretty much constant. I await correction....
