Think the only way to get DCL firing again is for all the old fellas to turn up in skirts and handbags to show their support

Everton dars be like..........

Think should play tonight in fairness. Will no doubt be a Holgate and Doucoure midifield, and I think he'll have to help out in midfield especially in a transition. Same with Richy.

No mate, we have him for 2 more years, if we don't play him we don't owe Spurs a fee, but, we still have to pay him 80 grand a week for the length of his contract, unless we can convince some other club to take him.
Another incredible piece of work by EFC. Deli was sidelined by three Spurs managers yet Frank thought Deli was ok.

Why ? His play this season has been pants, he is out of shape and is not match ready. The team needed a plug and play yet got
a long-term prospect. A poster above contrasted the Ericsen purchase at Brentford who is knocking in goals and has made a big
immediate impact and I suppose the reason is that the Brentford manager has a top record whereas Frank is an unknown quantity.

Deli could only have been picked up by a green-horn manager.

Lampard showed a lot of faith in him to bring him to Everton.

He needs to trust him now. Give him a couple of starts. There is quality there if we can find it. And really, how many other options do we have ?

Why does he need to trust him?

He's been sidelined at tottenham by a few managers. Lampard obviously hasn't liked what he's seen so far either.

Why do you think lampard need to trust him regardless of what he's seeing of him day to day?

He'll be trusted when the manager thinks he can be, not because you want to see him on the pitch so you can make your own mind up about him

I suppose the reason is that the Brentford manager has a top record whereas Frank is an unknown quantity.
I suppose a more realistic reason could be that Ericsson was playing good football for his club and country at the time of his heart attack and he's worked hard to get back on the pitch whereas Dele has been in decline for years and never worked hard enough to ever risk giving himself a heart attack.
It's nothing to do with the managers, it's the massive difference in the players willingness to play.

I really struggle with this signing. Iwobi & Gomes are awful, DVB, Allen etc are either injured or banned. How bad is he training to not get a chance in a team that can't score goals?

Frank mentioned match fitness etc, but Christian Eriksen has got back to full fitness quicker. Just amazes me with all the apparent contacts that our staff have in the game, that they wasn't aware of how bad Ali's levels.

I mentioned previously that I watched him a lot at MK dons and spurs and was the most talented youngster I had seen bar Rooney. Quite sad to see a player go from potentially world class to Iwobi's understudy.

Remember when we signed the likes of Ginola, Gazza and Mark Hughes and we all thought why are we signing these players too late? At least they actually played, all this one has done is show off his Rolls Royce.

I think it’s down to where he would play, number 10 we don’t really play with one of the,, perhaps we should start to.
