Similar to Lampard I have no right to comment because I’ve never seen him play in a blue shirt but for a mercurial talent to drop off a cliff to the point where he’s given away for free by Daniel Levy in a transfer that only really benefits Everton suggests to me that something was blatantly wrong with him behind the scenes and Spurs were left in no doubt with what to do with him.

Obviously it may be far more simple that he’s just a bit unfit and low on confidence and he can hopefully come good.

This 100% we aren't putting crosses in and DCL is offering nothing. If we are relying on trying to make something happen in close quarters around packed boxes we need him there more than DCL. So what if he won't press from the front, DCL isn't either.

I suppose a more realistic reason could be that Ericsson was playing good football for his club and country at the time of his heart attack and he's worked hard to get back on the pitch whereas Dele has been in decline for years and never worked hard enough to ever risk giving himself a heart attack.
It's nothing to do with the managers, it's the massive difference in the players willingness to play.

My point was that a good manager would steer clear of Deli. Do you think that Klopp was ever interested in a slow, unfit prima donna like Deli.
The guy at Brentford is good and got a bloke who immediately delivers.
