Makes it very hard to have sympathy for the mess his career has become. Conflicted as to whether to feel sorry for him or not. Don’t wish him ill, and clearly something has gone very wrong, but I’m thinking not at the moment. Probably would if it was another clubs money.

Weighing it all up mate, the whole - something has gone thing - be it lust for football or mental health - i cant think of a worse place for him to rock up then here - i mean in the last 12 months we've been a mess, loosening managers, relegation scraps, selling players, protests, loans out - it was a poor move by us - if the lad was ever going to thrive it might have been in a stable and nurturing environment we are far from that - so a poor decision by the club.

Cant think of a worse combo then Dele and Everton.

The problem, amongst many problems with us , is throughout the years we’ve no idea who signs anyone . Lampard signs maupay never really plays him having targeted bojan all through the window . Completely different players . When Koeman was here we signed 3 number 10 that looked like one each for the chairman , manager and DofF.

Im not defending lampard because his record is indefensible but I’d like to know , accountability wise who to blame for some of our transfer gaffs. Whether it’s thelwell , moshiri , lampard or Kenwright .
Apart from the esk no one thinks they know for certain all the inner workings of a club, all we can do is look at the actions and make assumptions. Lampard becomes manager, a English attacking mid from the capital with a profile signs the next day. Folk are free to make their own assumptions, but he smells like a lampard signing to me.

He's certainly ended up like Lampard, a lot of hope of reigniting a career but ultimately being an absolute failure, parallel lines.

I honestly think you’re probably right but I do also understand those that doubt it . It’s just another of the things that frustrate me and something I suspect we’ll have less of an issue with with Dyche
