He's back with a knee injury that may need surgery.

Yeah its "risk free". o_O

Physical health risks

  • It is very dangerous to inhale nitrous oxide directly from the canister, and doing it in an enclosed space is also very dangerous.
  • Never place a plastic bag over your head.
  • If you take too much nitrous oxide you risk falling unconscious and/or suffocating from the lack of oxygen. People have died this way.
  • Dizziness, which might make you act carelessly or dangerously.
  • Heavy regular use of nitrous oxide can lead to a deficiency of vitamin B12 and to a form of anaemia. Severe B12 deficiency can lead to serious nerve damage, causing tingling and numbness in the fingers and toes. This can be very painful and make walking difficult. It can even lead to paralysis, and the damage may be lasting.
  • Regular use can stop you forming white blood cells properly.
  • It can be hard to judge the amount to use safely. If you have too much you can end up fainting, having an accident or worse.
Didn’t say it was risk free. Nothing is. Regularly heading a football can cause damage and we’re happy for them to do that.

Nitrous oxide can cause nerve damage and spinal cord damage

Yeah. Not sure why everyone is fuming

No club will want to sign him now. He's been nothing but a liability

Signed by "Chairman Bill" Kenwright

Ha ha - whoever’s decision it was chairman bill would have had talks. Not sure it proves anything one way or the other

"Chairman Bill" makes the final decision on signings. Its been repeatedly stated.

Also negotiated the signing

His fault

Bill Kenwright is nothing but a disaster for Everton Football Club

@twoblue don't dispute it. The club told the Fan Advisory Board this was the case

@twoblue also note timeline. Thelwell was not an employee when Alli was signed
Dele Alli was signed by Bill Kenwright (January 2022) before the appointment of Kevin Thelwell (February 2022)

Good advice, unless you like that sort of thing while doing something else…

Fair enough, still not sure that says he signed Dele. Having had a bit of a background view into transfer dealings there is usually a lot of back channeling going on with a lot players that lead no where. Reckon Lampard gave a nod he was happy with the signing. Not defending bill here but can’t stick everything wrong with the club on him.
Still don’t think signing dele was a bad bet at the time.

I can quote where they were praising Bill Kenwright over the signing later. After it was done.

All silent now.

Bill Kenwright is 100% disgrace and he is definitely a great deal to do with everything that is wrong at the club.

He signed off, literally the signing and negotiated the deal

All before Thelwell arrived at the club

Don’t think there’s any dispute Kenwrong did the ‘negotiations’ with Levy but both Alli and Lampard are represented by the same agency (CAA Base) and imo there is zero chance this wasn’t all set up in the background during Lampard’s talks about becoming manager.
At the very least he will have known and endorsed it (or been able to veto it), and I believe it’s entirely viable he and CAA Base actually floated it as a ‘condition’.
