Gray I can understand for that price, young player still with potential.

Townsend though.... if we wanted an experienced PL right-sided winger with pace, then it would have made more sense to extend Walcott's deal back in January on lower wages.

Even January was different times under a different manager, I guess

Townsend is younger and doesn't eternally frustrate the fanbase like Walcott does.

He'll be on less wages than Bernard and help the team more

Honestly don't know how some of yas can turn your nose up at low price deals that will actually fill some squad holes and address pace issues.

Give me that Vs paying loads for bang average players. Spend smart on the squad holes and then add quality slowly but surely.
