I think he was a player that at least looked like he could make something happen last season so he will need replacing if he goes

We’re a crap team so if anyone can even hint at making something happen during a game then we need to make sure there’s adequate cover should they leave

Would rather someone actually get into the box and score 5 back post tap ins than sulk about away from play and score 2 monster screamers and do very little else every season. Dobbin looks very short of composure, but I’d much rather try and keep Gray quiet than Dobbin as a full back. He was terrified of getting hurt by centre backs and keepers hence his magical fluffed eyes closed header that could have made him a hero. He played the some of the best football of his career in an Everton shirt, and we need better. He isn’t going on to another level.

He was our only pace last year but not worried about losing it as he doesn’t ever use it. Just as I wouldn’t be worried if Dwight needs his right leg amputating. Wouldn’t be missed.

Should of course be fondly remembered for swinging the lovely free kick in to provides Frank’s biggest moment in football. It was no more than you’d expect from a professional wide player, but he did deliver when it mattered.

I'm all for selling ANYONE in our crap squad but the problem we have is they don't get adequately replaced. So there's a couple of things that concern me

When we sold Gordon we were all "wonder who we are going to replace him with". Great deal on paper but a huge risk to sell him (no matter how poor we think he was, it was still a first team player). We didn't replace him and were the weaker for it.

People saying Dyche doesn't rate Gray. Well he rated him enough to start a must win game against Bournemouth and chose him ahead of strikers Maupay and Simms. So if he was available, I'd say he's ahead of Maupay currently in the pecking order (which isn't saying much I know)

We sell him for 10m, let's see if he's a) replaced and b) replaced with better for the same kind of money.
