Thinking that we can’t or shouldn’t at least try to improve on these absolute wastemen is a big part of the reason why we just keep getting worse and worse and worse. I remember when we signed Gray and Townsend and they was seen as good cheap low risk squad players, now people are lauding him as some irreplaceable member of the first team. Doesn’t that just say everything you need to know about our demise.
