People saying Dyche doesn't rate Gray. Well he rated him enough to start a must win game against Bournemouth and chose him ahead of strikers Maupay and Simms. So if he was available, I'd say he's ahead of Maupay currently in the pecking order (which isn't saying much I know)

We sell him for 10m, let's see if he's a) replaced and b) replaced with better for the same kind of money.

Said the same thing a month ago when it was rumoured.

Bottom line is selling him doesn't free up funds to then improve the squad overall as it'll get used to replace him.

But still puts us in the same position. We need a striker. We need a centre back. We need another CM.
 

If we receive a fee of 10-15m for him I’d be happy. I like him as a player but he’s far too inconsistent and selfish to rely on each week and someone like McNeil came in and albeit had a poor 1st half of a season but showed in the second half the type of winger we have needed in the side for years. i think we have already replaced Gray with Danjuma. The next signing and pause on selling him is likely also for us to sign another forward to reinforce numbers and make sure we aren’t just in the same place as last season.

Sorry still no idea of the logic .
If this was the case why would transfers happen at all. There are a multiple of reasons one club might sign a player and another would sell. Its business isn't it
