Haha, quite. It seems like this summer its a case of everyone has their price. Everton have never been so ruthless.
 
I can't believe we'd consider selling Osman. Especially not for a measly sum like £3-£4 million.

He's worth so much more to us than that.

Or because he represents a very good price v quality. We've been crying out for an out and out goalgetter, since The Yak seemingly lost his his hunger. Dont think you'll find many strikers with a better goals to games ration than Demba Ba, especially at the price being quoted. Bring him in please, I'd say.

Torn on the Osman subject. I agree with you, 5m for Ossie would represent good value, but I quite like him, and he carried us through the season at times. Wouldn't mind if he stayed on tbh, especially with our injury record.

The man is more than a squad player. He is an Evertonian through and through. Leon lays it on the line for us and is fearless! I know he takes a lot of stick for slip ups on the pitch, but I would rather have a guy who bleeds blue, is respected in the club house, and the community, than some johnny come lately, cash minded mercenary who is a "playing for only a paycheck" minded prick. SAVE LEON! He plays for the badge on his shirt. Nuff said.

Can't sell Osman - he's a trooper, puts himself on the line for the team and never moans. Can't buy those sorts of characters easy these days. What's the alternative? Get some Peruvian mercenary? (Not sure why Peru came first, nothing personal!)

I actually think if Moyes is smart he'll make Leon a first choice player next season, in a position that suits him. He's shown what he can do in roles suited to his strengths, and at 30, it's about time he was used as more than a square peg in a round hole.

He's one of the most naturally gifted players at the club, and it's about time we make the most of that.

You know we did. Great minds think alike. Also, when we are done with the breakfast of champions, we piss excellence. Just the way of the world for winners like us. Bottom line.
