To be fair he has a record (until the end of last season) of having 1 good game every 8-10.
He cant play wide.....so the "variery of positions" is a myth....its like having 10.5 men on the pitch...

He is a good squad player to have as long as he plays centrally. If an offer came in over the 3.5mil GBP mooted then Moyes has to seriously consider it.

Him and Hibbert are good blues.....what about our academy players who get released -- should we re-sign them because they are good blues BUT arent good enough playing wise ?

I want a massive overhaul this summer.

I didn't say he was particularly good in a variety of positions, he is capable though. Played all right on the left for us this season at times if my memory serves me correctly. But he is at least twice as good in his natural position than anywhere else.

No we shouldn't go buying Evertonians/ex academy players because they're blues despite they're ability, I never suggested that.

I suppose an offer in the region of £3.5m-£5m would represent a good deal perhaps very good, yes. Although personally I don't think we need to sell him if certain other less effective players are to leave, for example I would much rather take upwards of £6m for Bily than sell Osman, despite the age factor.

Yes 50k max for me too, but you can imagine his agent pushing for higher in light of the overall deal not being that expensive to us in comparison to some.
