Agents are parasitics bastards who are in the main responsible for the financial ruin of football. Christ they make me angry.

I do think you should temper that to be *some* agents, and those some probably amount to the ones who represent the top level players. There are many agents who work damn hard for young lads and those in the lower reaches of the game, so it's unfair to tar them all with the same brush.

On the whole though, if we're only talking about the agents at the top, I completely agree with your post. It baffles me why some of these players actually need agents... "So Mr. Lampard, would we be able to pay you a million quid and give you loads of free adidas stuff if you wear our boots next year?".... "Hang on, I need to check with my agent on that one!"

I'm sure I read somewhere that Scholes never had an agent for about 10 years as a pro. Quite what Ba's agent is doing to EARN the amount of money he's demanding I really don't know. As far as I can tell alot of these guys are just glorified PA's.

I think we have a good chance of getting this fella. By all accounts we're up against Newcastle, Blackburn and Sunderland. Can't see him picking any of those over us. Would be a great signing if Moyes could pull it off.

As I posted earlier - my mates a season ticket holder at the Boleyn (bless him) - and reckons this kid is lightening quick, has two great feet, good awareness and knows how to stick it in the onion bag.....He got something like 7 goals in 12 games from mostly being played out wide by old Jabba the Hutt!!

That's a fair assessment of him TBF , he reminds me of two players , he has bits of Saha and also Freddie Kanoute because hes very gangly/ lanky to look at with very good and quick feet , he's very quick too and is also good in the air ( obviously) has bad points otherwise with them attributes he'd be playing for Barca , he's got a slight work rate at times not the best body language hence simlar to Saha but certainly knows were the net is and can use either foot , I for one will be sick when he signs for someone else

Makes sense, were not going to get him entirely for free. But if we cant afford that then move on.

I agree. If we signed him for £2million we would consider it good business. We need a striker and can't afford to be choosey. If it means we sign him I think we should just cough up the fee.
