dont want this to be true, wouldnt really indicate that our recruitment is gonna improve at all. Personally would like to see us go for jayden bogle. Even younger than aarons, had at least as good a 2 seasons in the championship as aarons did, and could probably get him for a quarter of the price.

Am not sure he is decent? He may turn out ok, theres been some great premier league players signed from the dutch league, but many more disasters. And I dont qualify 25 as 'relatively young'. The advantage of buying a Bogle, or similar, is that if he fulfils his potential and turns out to be good youve got your right back sorted for a good few years for a very small outlay. If he doesnt, his age and relatively low wages means he can easily be shipped on for just a small loss. If Dumfries doesnt work out he'll be very difficult to shift, and just end up sitting there running down a decent contract like so many others have done over the last few years. We need to stop letting this happen by creating the situation ourselves in the first place.
