I have championed him for a while and he does need to work on his defensive work but he is a very strong right wing back.
Mad how people don't see it
Who doesn't think he'd be a good wing-back?
That's not the issue some have with him.

Spit the pundit is dusting off his boots for his old gaffa I heard. Fear not. There goes my optimism for the new season.
Coleman or overpriced Aarons it is.
Steve Bruce has done alright with them, unless you think Joelinton is the big difference? His Newcastle side were championship quality mate.
If he played open football they would gone right back doon
Dont think he plays too often with wide players so the full backs push forward and act as the width (although I think he'll look at the squad first before deciding what way to play).
Actually looking forward to seeing what he does here. Ancelotti's tactics towards the end of the season added to the empty stadiums/fake crowd noise burnt me out so just excited to see what potential changes he does to the side in addition to hopefully some fast pacey signings.
Bet he goes for the 4231At Valencia, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Napoli he played almost exclusively a 4231, at Newcastle he switched from that to a 343/541
Not sure what he did at Inter or in China
He might have tried tbf, but PSV would have been insane to let him go before the Euros, where he was likely to start for one of the better sides in the tournamentIf Brands wasn't constantly playing golf we might of had this sorted before the euros
Anyway...
FORE!
I’m sure you are right with this.its no secret brands wanted to tie this up before the euros, but his agent wanted him in the shop window.
probably go to the highest bidder!
