Benitez has still done arguably better. As I keep saying though certain managers/players suit certain clubs

Brands has been over in Holland trying to sort the deal out.

If he decides to go to inter then there's nothing more we could do. We wanted him before the euros, If he's decided to make his decision until after the euros and a bigger team has came in for him then fair play to the lad hes backed himself and got what he wants.

Theres plenty of other RBs out there, Nobody even knew about this lad before we were linked to him so I'm sure there's others on the list. Shame though because €15m to sort out our RB position would of been good.

It seems like people love Dumfries due to the euros...they never faced a top side and if they did then im confident he'd have been shown up.

Celik is...meh.

If were going for an u25 player then theres probably one or two around we could sign and hope they do well.

If were looking for another u23 like Godfrey to come in then Aarons or Emerson.

In reality i dont think anyone could post 3 right backs u23 that are likely to come in and be part of a top 6 side.

Top young full backs outside of the top clubs are scarce at the moment.

….I recall Moyes looking at the best young RBs in the Championship as a strategy. I think that’s how Stones was identified. We need defenders with Rolls Royce engines.

Tbf he doesn't seem to set the world alight at his feet. But seems to be one of those players that is driven and committed.

We do lack that.
