Utd wouldn't loan him us last year because they probably thought we were much much better than we actually were. This year I think they would be fine with it.

We could just buy him. Waiting around for Dumfries just seems risky to me. He could end up going to inter, and even if we get him he will have no preseason. I think Dalot has potential.

I think you're right on that. I doubt he bought Iwobi either.
Also he's hamstrung by FFP and if he's not fully in charge and also still trying to clean up the Walsh era, I'm not sure what you expect from him.
I'm not sure what DoF would do better under Moshiri with Usmanov lurking in the shadows.

I guess what I'm saying is that I think he's probably very good at his job but he's not being let do it properly at Everton.
So he's not really a bluffer. I think the only thing I'd pull him up on is that he seems content to sit on the board and let people who shouldn't be making football decisions, make them.
