I kinda agree with you, but surely they could make enough money out of the cure meds ??

In my mind no, it would be completely immoral to charge the meds out at extortionate rates. People would want it free on the NHS.

Cancer is big business and, morbidly, useful for population growth.

However that’s another topic for another day.

yes I totally agree.

A slightly awkward thing, but there is actually a cure for the majority of forms, but due to big pharma it won't see the light of day anytime soon because they make far more money from the management of treating patients than curing. Even though i trained as a Physiologist im not a great fan of the way the medical system works tbh.
Aye right - and the scientists who have discovered the cure 'for the majority of forms' of cancer don't want to win the Nobel prize, and get the global recognition, major financial reward and esteem that goes with that. They'd rather keep it all under wraps and keep showing up for work each day because, you know, big pharma.

Beat me to it.
Add in those researchers that would publish purely to benefit humankind. My usual cynicism aside, I believe some of those exist.

Spot on, with all the people who've been working on it you'd imagine there'd be at least one who would rather their name is linked forever with the cure than keep up a lie to make money.

There was an American bloke who made an engine powerful enough to power cars years ago, fuelled solely on water - the engine (fuel cell) was taken off him along with all of the blueprints etc, and he died mysteriously afterwards.

Stanley Meyers his name. Theres too much money in oil, just like theres too much money in pharmacology.

This is worth a read...not really as much there as folks like to believe.

Media, internet etc is improving at a ridiculously fast rate, but somehow our most efficient and quickest transport is century old trains.
