Player Valuation: £5m
If he's motivated by managing a crap team in a crap league in a place that's always damp and cold it could be on.

Simeone is NOT coming to Everton. It is some ridiculously cynical SkyBet rumour to force betting activity by the gullible.
If we DO get Simeone I am more than happy to be vaulted, but you all know in your hearts it's just not true.
Tuchel hasn't ever worked in England and is unlikely to have much (if any) on Everton. By the time he learns who our players and their abilities, the players learn to play to Tuchel's style and he can implement his style and tactics we'll be well past Christmas. The obvious solution would be to get Tuchel in as caretaker for the rest of the season, and get Simeone in the Summer.
Anything else is just wishful thinking.
I knew there had to be a flaw in my logic. I actually thought Tuchel for 6 months was the only slightly feasible bit - if he is waiting on a 'big boy' to come in for him in the Summer such as Bayern - 6 months learning about the English game and teams might appeal.Tuchel hasn't ever worked in England and is unlikely to have much (if any) on Everton. Tuchel would want more than a six month contact too, Tuchel is a class manager with a good reputation if Moshiri/Kenwright & Co decided to go with Tuchel it wouldn't just be for the season.
If we wanted to wait until the end of the season to target Simeone or someone else's we can either give Unsworth until the end of the season or bring in big Sam. I don't think another manager without a club who has a good enough knowledge on Everton/the Premier League is suitable to manage out the season and then pass the job on.
falling asleep to QI has finally paid off
Tony Cottee also reckons Fat Sam would be a good fit, little cockney mutant.Ray Wilkins, in that slow deliberate irritating cockney
'I think, Everton, need, a fighter.
But,
I think
They should forget,
About
Diego Simeone (Pause for laughter) I think Sam Allardyce
Would be a great
Appointment'
Not sure why, but my mind couldn’t help reading this in the voice of Christopher Walken.Ray Wilkins, in that slow deliberate irritating cockney

No, he's an owner and a hologram owner at that.Right so, cos the manager cocked up he is a crap chairman? Like those who apponted Moyes at UTD, AVB at Spurs?
...he's an accountant mate. If you think accountants have the sort of moolah to own £150M worth of club shares or whatever it is and to buy up club debt to the tune of £80M then that's your prerogative, I suppose.Even for you that is the most ridiculous statement yet!
You've gone all Panorama on us davek! Whilst I think that your innuendo about how Moshiri's finances (with relation to Everton) have been supplied is probably spot on the money, I think he is convincingly wealthy enough to ensure that everything looks above board. And from my google search he is that wealthy....he's an accountant mate. He could be a good accountant tho, like a right arm, that good he helped his boss make millions and millions. In fact he couldn't do without him, and named his god son Farhad, well that's what I heard...he's an accountant mate. I doubt very much that anything he's done will have been illegal. He could be a good accountant tho, like a right arm, that good he helped his boss make millions and millions. In fact he couldn't do without him, and named his god son Farhad, well that's what I heard
