Lol, yeah probably. Can't tell sarcasm when there are actually that many people that are going around saying that.
 
Do we really have to discuss whether he's a legend or not? It's disrespectful to him. No matter how you view Cahill he was a great servant to Everton. Let's not gloss over that with debates about "mehhh well I wouldn't call him a legend bla bla".
 
Legend = Alan Ball, Dixie Dean, Neville Southall, Wayne Rooney..................... Cult hero = Tim Cahill, Duncan Ferguson, Thomas Graveson, Kevin Campbell

You do realise that in the good old days (before i was born unfortunately) fans from both teams used to travel down to Wembley together ?

Some things are more important than football feuds.

Has to be taken into context.

Did he win anything? No.

Was he a major part in transforming this club from relegation fodder to a top 4 side and putting us where we are now? Yes.

By not winning anything, must mean Moyes wouldn't be eligible to be an "everton legend". Even though, bottom line, they gave us our pride back which is as important than winning silverware.
 

I got called a Kopite by a fellow Evertonian yesterday because i see Ferguson and Cahill as cult heroes rather than legends.:lol:
