Yeah mate I will be. I trying to view as a positive experience either way. I either get a chance with someone I fancy or I at least make a big step forward when it comes to expressing my confidence. Least I can tell myself "a year ago you were so low that even holding conversations was difficult, now you're prepared to give asking someone out a try".
I've come a long way and addressed a lot kf my problems that have cause me to be miserable. This is just another hurdle to climb over.

Just do it. It is not a crime. Also, try to think of something funny to say, in advance, to diffuse the moment if it becomes awkward. @LayneNo need for apologies on here mate. Very difficult situation when alcohol is involved. Realisation that he is not in his own house and away from the family could be a wake up for him.
Seen the damage these situations can have on families as it's very common. No easy fix but keep posting mate.

He changed his flight and left a couple of days after. We never really talked about the blow out, just played nice until he went.@Layne
