Good idea , I have been something similar with the TV and my pc , just dont bother with it for more than about 2 hours a day.I've decided to do an experiment, I'm giving up my smart phone and internet for a week, I'm spending too much time on it and I think its affecting my mood, I did it a few weeks ago and started feeling better so went back at it and my mood had gotten worse since, so from this evening my wife will be hiding my phone because I have no will power, she'll check it for WhatsApp messages incase of anything important.. I'll be doing my best to stay offline in work too.. this may be the cause of a lot of my current feelings. Good bye for now.
Have been giving myself a list of things to do every day and getting on with doing them , feel a lot better in myself for it.
Might take a hint of you and put it into practice with my phone next, it has a dont disturb setting I have on from 22.30 bit might lower it down or hide it like you.
