I'm no fan of Christmas, that's putting it lightly. I'm surrounded by plenty of people but weirdly I don't think there's a time of year where I feel more alone. As others have said, if you need to talk to someone or just vent a bit then make sure you do, whatever time of the year.
Credit to the people that are constantly in here providing useful advice or just lending an ear, some of which are struggling themselves. Take care everyone, I'm going to try and sleep until 4th January, a real life sleeping beauty if you will.

Why is he like this @Twinkletoes123 and I don’t know how you put up with it.
It’s selfish, controlling and quite frankly, nasty behaviour. Your husband clearly has issues and I’m guessing he doesn’t see a problem with his behaviour.
So sorry it has to be like this for you at any time, not just Christmas. It really sounds toxic and you both deserve better.
