Looks like the tide is turning for Moyes. An it's all his own fault. He'll have to do something quick or he'll lose the fans forever.

I just don't like his shitty attitude. If he has a problam........[Poor language removed] off!!

We need new....through out the club. Even a new style of play!!

I've been concerned about Moyes since he revealed he probably would have left after the Metalist game if we went out...

I got even more concerned when AJ left, for Fulham... when we wanted to keep him.

The most concerned though was when he said we were not ready to win a Premiership game. That made my blood boil. As I said in August;

I have never had any doubt towards our manager. Never. Always had absolute faith in him but for various reasons over the past few months this faith has started to dwindle and I am now starting to question him.

At the start of pre-season, he spoke of his determination to bring in players of a higher calibre, players who would enable us to effectively compete with the top four.

Obviously, this hasn't happened.

We have resorted to signing no mark players who he has only seen on videos. Players he clearly didnt want, through his own admission. If the likes of Castillo turn out to be decent, its by luck.

Moyes admitted himself that he has indeed let the club down, and I agree with him. His job is to strengthen the side and he has failed this summer. No excuses. He has accepted that himself. Lets take a moment not to blame the board, he has had the same amount of money, if not more than at any other time during his position as manager of this football club.

He has let Carsley/Johnson/McFadden go and not replaced them. Its not as though there isnt a central midfielder in the world who could not replace to Carsley, so why hasn't he? Its David Moyes job to do that. He hasn't, and now we are paying for it.

He said he signed Jacobsen to free up Neville in midfield, why not just sign a midfielder?

Now you can blame the board, "wheres the money?" - "if there was money, he would have spent it" - Fact is, there is some money there. That is a fact, he has said so himself. None has been spent. Why?

Why hasn't Moyes signed his contract? If he isn't happy with the board, I would rather he just packed his bags. I would rather have a manager here who will use whatever money available to bring in players. Its almost as though Moyes has got a major sulk on and in effect, he is sabotaging the club.

I really do hope he pulls off not only a few signings, but brings in players we need in the next few days. If he doesn't, he has failed to take us to a higher level. Simple as that.

Sorry, but I have refrained from moaning all summer. I think i deserve one.

he should snatch evertons hand off, if this season carries on like this he'll be asking alan irvo for a job!!

Starting to come round to the stance that has been aired above. Over the piece, Moyes has been a good manager for us and done a sterling job. However, if he is not totally committed and continues to drag his feet over his future, id rather we move on.

Some guy on NSNO seems to think its a done deal...

...If he signs, it will feel abit like an anti climax...waiting for this contract to be signed and then just abit disappointed when it happens. If he had signed a month ago id be jumping around the room...

I'm a massive fan of Moyes, i think for what he's done over the last 6 years, he deserves a contract that reflects his success. But he can't keep messing us about, i do feel though that he was holding out for more money and ambition from the board before signing, and rightly so.

how long does it take for lawyers to lok over it? must have all sorts of get out clauses in it.

Or is he waiting for confirmation of investment?

Or is it he cant be arsed to sign it?

Or is Bill about to [Poor language removed] him off?

Or is the foreign investment about to [Poor language removed] him off?

Never [Poor language removed] ending soap opera

Mate I dont want him sacked I want him to sign, but the waiting is doing my head in:@

Contracts mean nothing these days mate if a CL club comes in for him i think he will go. The contract isnt troubleing me in the slightest, hes given his word to the club, fans but more importantly the players, at the end of the day i dont think he would leave them after so many have signed long term contracts. I beleive there are reasons it hasnt been signed yet, some may be ambition of the club and some could be release conditions. He will sign.

People who want him to clear of have very short memerioes, its not so long ago we avoided relegation with the lowest poits tally in history. I think its fair to say that any other manager under current and past financial limitations would have overseen our relegation.

Im certain of that.

So you're saying we'll still be discussing this subject in the next century?:D

Agree though, this contract saga is getting absolutely ridiculous.

it was a sort of tongue in cheek statement that this thing has been going on for ages now and probably will continue to do so :D

all we've heard for the last 6 months is "we'll know something within the next week" or "we're hoping to have it sorted by the end of the week" or "it should be done very soon, maybe even before the weekends game."

They take us for mugs, and the majority of us buy what they say.

look at this FFS you can just imagine it now Moyes runs into the web developers office saying something a little like this:-

"We've had a wee little problem with the contract, its going to be another 6 months, come up with something to put on that wee site of yours to distract the fans for a few days, by which time I should have had time to come up with a more original excuse for the delay."

The extremely intelligent web designer comes up with this gem!
