I tend to think it’s less about the fans being on the players than the leadership of the club not being on them. Week after week, home or away, fans or no fans, the players have been allowed to play badly and not show any spine, all with no consequences. The same thing exists throughout the club. Moshiri may have the money, but he has utterly failed at creating accountability for coming up short.

Before lockdown I would of said yes.

now we have a gutless team playing in front of no one watching and they still cannot string any passes together.

Liverpool had won the league near enough and Norwich were the worst team we have ever played this season inc the cups so that papered over the cracks for a few weeks but I think we need someone to go in and just speak to the players and just explain that losing isn’t normal and its not (or at least shouldn’t be) the Everton way.
