That or some CalPol or antibiotics. It may cure the current onset of 'lotsofdefensivemistakes-itis' which seems to have engulfed him as of late.

N.B: There are other suspended paracetamol products available on the market.
Put them on a course of Viagra, stiffen up a bit

No excuse for the defending, but Arsenal and Chelsea after having good transfer windows would never be cakewalks. And as for Leicester, once again they showed spirit and demonstrated that their draw against us wasn't a fluke.

We drew at Leicester, Arsenal have drawn at Leicester after first blood.... for that reason I'm now at Fumecon 4, whereas it was Fumecon 3 after Chelsea's 2nd goal yesterday.

I've only ever reached Fumecon 1 on one occasion before.... it wasn't pretty and it took ages to clean up the mess!

Against Leicester we let their corner drop into our box. Costa was really good at clearing the near post yesterday and that's something that Lukaku needs to add to his game. The second goal was a bit like pinball.

Coleman and McCarthy have failed to organise themselves a few times and Ramsey's goal was one of those. We needed to stop the cross for Giroud's goal too.

I think that Jags and Distin are both quite laid back and they think that their pace will get them out of trouble. It takes them a good month to get warmed up almost every season.

I'd be quite tempted to try:

Howard
Jagielka Stones Distin
Coleman___________________Baines
Barry
Mirallas_________Pienaar
Naismith
Lukaku
We're getting too stretched at the back. Both Jags and Distin have been guilty of being sucked into midfield and, with both our fullbacks playing so high already, it leaves us wide open in the middle. Stones could give us some added insurance and he could run into midfield to his heart's content.

we would get hammered with only one cm

Liverpool play with Gerrard at the base of their midfield diamond. City have only Fernando. The goals that we're conceding are from close range. Another body in defence could help us to close down space quicker and block shots from coming in in the first place.

It's not too dissimilar from what we're playing at the moment where Barry slots in between Distin and Jagielka anyway.

Liverpool played three central midfielders today.

Henderson and Allen as part of a diamond? They do have license to get forward but they are more disciplined than Mirallas or Pienaar. We would have Stones stepping into midfield and Naismith dropping back when needed to ensure that we didn't get outnumbered though.

Has Roberto dropped any player because of form? Obviously, there hasn't been that long, but I imagine it is a really tough thing to do. What regular did Moyes drop because of poor form? Yobo? Heitinga? (Barkeley doesn't count for me as he hadn't really broken into the team).

Rumour going around that we've bid £8m for Ryan Shawcross.

Another rumour doing the rounds is Neil Warnock wants to sign Jags for QPR & pair him with Rio Ferdinand.

While it seems a little knee jerk to sell our captain, I'm intrigued rather than appalled by both these rumors. I kind of hate Shawcross and I'm not sure he could wholly adapt to our style, but I'm coming to think that we shouldn't have Phil and Distin making runs into the box anyway. Think we might want to get back to basics: the job of the goalie and the two in central defense is to get it to playmakers and then attend to their job as the last line of defense.

tbf, under Hughes he has actually shown he can play it out the back quite a lot, that's probably the reason bobby has chosen him if the rumours are true
