That's a sensible poll result so far, only 1 in 4 persuaded that Lampard should be sacked...and I doubt it'll be that many in the end.

There's no stomach to launch another managerial search. Fans are sick of it and they want this manager to get it right. We've got to guts this out and stick with a manager for once. Lampard deserves that backing too for getting us over the line when we looked doomed.

We'll get up that table in the next few matches post world cup. I'm surprised given the lack of firepower we have we're not marooned right at the bottom of the table. Richarlison was always going to be a massive loss now that we all know for sure Calvert-Lewin is finished.

A bang average striker in January and some creativity ahead of that midfield or out wide and we'll be fine.
This is what I can't mind head around, why does he deserve to be backed? What has he done to deserve so much blind optimism from our support? We don't have the money to spend on a 50 million Brazilian, he needs to get a tune out of what is there. Our support is nuts at times, people talking about Dale Ali coming back will offer us creativity, to be fair Frank and the club is trying to get rid of the lad. By the end of Jan we'll have a new manager and probably sooner as results will dictate that.

?‍♂️

Loan to buy deal.

The cash is there to spend. It has to be. If it isn't then no one can save us.
I don't think it is. All our transfers have to be signed off by the PL now as we're under close scrutiny due to FFP. We'll have to sell to buy. Gordon and DCL are our only sellable assets. Due to how crap they've been/injured and how desperate we are to sell to buy they'll have devalued a fair bit since pre-season.

I hope not, because that'd mean that we'd paid out for a striker and they weren't getting goals...or that no meney had been spent.

No manager is getting us out of this situation without spending cash on a player or two who can create and score goals.

The truth is that most clubs in the league would sack their managers with records like that. But Everton want to show everyone how 'patient' they are before sacking him at the end of January.
You are probably correct, I fear we may need a miracle by time we get there because we arent signing players in the first 2 or 3 weeks are we?

Frank bought McNeil to go with Gordon and Gray yet we need 2 x wingers.

Frank bought Maupay to go with DCL and Rondon yet we still need another striker.

But we need genuine genuine quality, not sure we will get that in January.

We can't go through this managerial change again, we have to stick with him and we have to make it work

I don't want to get linked with the usual list of failed also ran managers; you can guarantee Moyes and Martinez would both be linked (and have people on here calling for them). They are both the past, don't want either of them back.

Stick with Frank
