Ask around long lane Sunday morning, there will be couple of managers with at least as much clue as Frank.
We have a DOF to know who should be next, if he hasn't had half an eye on what managers are available,
He isn't doing his job properly.
Villa have a manager lined up, even Bournemouth have one lined up, why can't we?
Look at this Spanish fella who Wolves have just got, shows there are people out there that most won't know, but the DOF will, or should.
We only think about what's right under our noses, the list is always the same Moyes/Marinez/Dyche.... etc but the game is global and our league is a draw.
We know Frank isn't working, there will be someone

2014–2016Porto
2016–2018Spain
2018Real Madrid
2019–2022Sevilla

Fella has had some pretty high profile jobs.

But I do agree, loads wont know who the hell he is.

See I don't follow European football, apart from CL games I tune into, so these guys won't be on my shortlist, most people are the same, which is why the replacement list is always full of clichés.
But these guys are out there, when did we last take a punt on one with no PL experience? Maybe we should

Moyes. And we have never appointed a manager with no British football experience. As a club we completely lack imagination. As a fanbase we also lack imagination. Watch the calls for dross like Dyche to grow louder and louder and the same voices calling for his appointment will be the same ones calling him a yard dog after 3 months.

We had the best manager in the world and he couldn’t get anything out of us.

Time to start looking at actually fixing the institutional problems instead of applying the latest plaster to the gaping wound that is Everton.
Couldn't get anything out of us?

Beat Liverpool at Anfield. Beat Spurs away, beat Arsenal away. Got 59 points

Totally missing the point fella.

Fans where calling for his head , their club stuck with him & give him time , now they are reaping the rewards.

We can't keep sacking managers .
But they had the safety of knowing Arteta wasn't going to get them relegated. when they were struggling and fans were calling for his head the worst that was going to happen was that would finish mid table that season. They actually ending up finishing 8th, then 5th and now this season they are flying. So yes they are reaping the benefits now. It's a lot less risky being patient in those circumstances. The difference with Everton is that they could realistically get relegated this season. Are we really saying let's be prepared to stick with Frank, get relegated and struggle for a season or two because eventually the patience will pay off and in a couple of seasons we will come back up and be a stronger team for it. I am with you in that we can't keep sacking managers but we also can't keep employing the wrong managers otherwise we are left with no choice but to keep sacking them

I would be Quite happy sticking with Frank and finishing 13-14th for a season or two if I felt it would pay dividends after that. I am just not convinced he can take us as high as 13-14th now or in the future. I am sure that Villa would not have got Emery had they been hovering in the relegation positions with about 15 games to go as there would be less margin for error. If we leave it too late we will be scrambling for someone decent and may end up appointing another manager that we end up getting rid of after less than a season

Well, I think that's fair comment.

I created this poll because it just seemed incredible to me that we have a situation where two games ago everyone was relatively content and now there's a lot of people saying he has to go.

If you dont have attacker s you dont have much of a chance. Now he is culpable in that, but I doubt he ever wanted to sell Richarlison, so the board / owner iis ultimatley to blame.
Great post.

The truth is he’d be gone after this week at most clubs. We were never going to survive on the good vibes of staying up. The recruitment failures in attack are not Lampard’s fault, and I feel for him there. He’s working with spare parts. But he’s absolutely running on fumes now. We’re sitting 17th and he’s shown very little tactical know-how. I’m ready to move on and try something different. I can’t help but look at the parallels with Villa going from Gerrard to Emery. This is a coaches league right now and we could attract a lot of managers outside of the PL with enough money.

Whoever is in charge come January we absolutely have to acquire a few players who have more than a passing interest in their team scoring goals.
