Documentaries

The biggest explosion in the British isles was an RAF underground munitions dump where a worker tried to remove a detonator with a brass chisel:

This guy makes really interesting short mini-documentaries.

Seen some really decent docs lately:

The legend of Walter Mercadu - like the Peurto Rican Russel Grant. Decent watch 7/10
The Cyntonia Brown Story - well worth the watch 8/10
Then 2 Storyville's - One about Chechyna gay people and one about the National enquirer, both 8/10ers.

Been thoroughly enjoying 'I'll Be Gone In The Dark' - about one of the most prolific and interesting serial killer/rapists of modern times - "The Golden State Killer"

Produced by HBO, it's a compulsive 6 part story about the amateur sleuths who worked on the case after after the trail went cold - I think it's available on Sky Atlantic

Channel 4 repeated Dogging Tales the other day.

Easily the best British documentary ever made.

Sounds good. My favourite British documentaries have been....

The British Hell's Angels one from years ago when they hyped up a massive weekender and just ended up depressed on a disused boat by a canal or something along those lines.

The one about the fellas who are in "relationships" with their very expensive sex dolls. Taking them out for a drive and taking snaps to treasure the memories. Somewhat soured by the footage of them packing their beloved into shipping crates to go back to the factory and have their vaginas fixed / cleaned out.

The fella who collected roadkill to eat and claimed he was getting malicious phone calls about it. Got a Private Investigator to listen to the calls and it was clearly just him putting on a voice and calling his own phone.
