Like me some Herzog anyway but really enjoyed this - bar the odd laconic voiceover he largely lets the interviewees and the images speak, and its a fascinating look at the physical marvels themselves, the sobering reminders of their power and the cultures that live and work in their shadow, and revere them.
On Youtube. Select 'Eric Brown Naval Pilot'. Amazing story of his life as a pilot. Mainly during WWll but covers periods both before and after the war. (Uncanny resemblance to Jacky Stewart!) Well worth a watch.
Absolutely belter YouTube channel this, strongly recommend for history buffs. Fella who hosts them doesn't take himself too seriously which makes it easy to listen too.

I watched a 3 part series on PBS America, The Balkans in Flames, about the break up of Yugoslavia and subsequent wars. Presented without taking sides and explaining each conflict in chronological order , highly recommend it.
