Thing is Ste, I really like all those people above, and I also like most of the others that come on here, including the more quirky people like Halewood Blue, who is a good bloke in my view, despite his very awkward streak. I talk to people that have been around for a while because I've got to know them. It's not meant to exclude others, and I think the cliquey banter types on here, are of a similar opinion.
 
Is the clique a bad thing?

While we don't aim to be the biggest Everton website on the net, we do pride ourselves on the friendly atmosphere which is unique to GrandOldTeam (or GOT as some call us). Such is the atmosphere that since its creation, friendships have formed through GrandOldTeam, with Blues meeting up in person with Everton always the centre point of discussion!

The clique thing has several forms. If it is friendly banter and enbles you to form friendship, then it is fine. When you come under attack from a clique, that is where the problems start. Also when a clique ruins threads and make non regular posters feel uncomfortable, again, this is where it is not pleasant for many.

Does it really annoy people when threads are used for personal conversations? I'm probably one of the worst for that, sorry boys.

And don't think I didn't see that GOT.
