Another thing I can’t stand about dogs is there’s anyways one that barks non stop at things like the wind in every neighbourhood.

It’s bad enough being a few houses away, how can that be comfortable for the dog or owners?

You never get cats miaowing non stop for no reason.

I find certain dog culture in the UK quite confusing and somewhat disturbing.

There are small parts of society that attach glamour to a dogs physical capability to cause serious harm (the "dangerous breeds"), and it then becomes some sort of must-have chav fashion accessory.

"Ahhhhh lad, he's an XL Bully, American Rednose, banned in 90 countries, I jab him up with my steds and mix protein supplement into his food, make him run uphill on the treadmill for an hour a day to bulk up, he's proper buff lad, feel his muscles lad, enough jaw pressure to crush bone of any large mammal.......but he's sound with kids, wouldn't have any other dog around them"

Not all "dangerous breed" dogs are owned by d*ckheads, but all d*ckheads seem to own a "dangerous breed" dog.

A big problem with dogs is everyone has a preference for a dog breeds looks rather than temperament/exercise needs.

Husky/Malamute breeds suffer the same as Bully Breeds in that many go for their looks but dont appreciate the sheer exercise and space requirements they need to be kept a happy dog.

An XL Bully simply cannot be shacked up in a 2 bed council house with a tiny garden unless it getting a large amount of daily exercise/mental stimulation which often isn't the case.

I've got a Dobermann and she's sound, growing up the family pets were a Lab and Staffy and all 3 breeds whilst similiar have different inherent behaviours and needs that you need to research up on before buying.

Best, honest answer I’ve seen from a dog owner. Good insight.

On my early evening dog walk along Priory Road, saw some sort of bull terrier carrying a log about 6 foot long and a good 5 inch diameter inside Stanley Park. It was with a woman and young girl. Every time it came to another dog it was play time. I have a skinny lurcher whose only raison d’etre in that 5 minutes was to demolish the railings and commit suicide

But just look at him he’s so loverly and frendly he wudnt hert a fly.

Honestly who in their right mind would let a dog that looks like that near young kids? It looks like a weapon.

Looks like something that’d come bouncing over a barbed wire fence and chase you on Resident Evil.

That poor girl looks sad. Presumably because someone has cropped her ears, which is an unnecessary and illegal procedure carried out by the types of people who should not be allowed to own shoes, let alone dogs.
