I like DCL but if he plays I hope he's not the one the best chance comes to if he has time to think as I think he doubts himself. If it's instinctive I give him the same chances of scoring as a Richarlison, Sigurdsson or Walcott. He will offer more pace than Tosun which should help us create chances. I think more than likely he will be on the bench but I would prefer him to start.

Dunno why people are even debating him starting. Silva has kept us unchanged since Leicester away (apart from Zouma/Mina) and in that time we’ve won 5, drew away at Chelsea and a really unfortunate defeat at United.

He’d be mad to change it.

That said DCL can give us something off the bench.

...no coincidence that he’s got pace and power that get him goalside and unnerve defenders. I do think we can get behind both of the Reds full backs.

DCL is a really nice talent. We should surely keep him as a backup/3rd striker option. Would not be surprised to see him exploding into a truly good player in a few seasons. No point starting him this week though. Right now he works the best like an impact sub to run exhausted defenders. Can see him getting a winner for us in a match soon.

Kane was garbage until 22-23, no reason why DCL can't become much better than he is right now.

DCL has an average of one PL goal or assist every 177 minutes, in 17/18 every 170 minutes.
Rashford? 18/19 = 169 mins, 17/18 = 150 mins.
Zaha? 18/19 = 198 mins, 182 mins.

To compare:
Richarlison 18/19 = 133 mins, 17/18 = 283 mins.
Tosun 18/19 = 130 mins, 17/18 = 198 mins.
Niasse 18/19 = nothing, 17/18 = 98 mins.
Firmino 18/19 = 202 mins, 17/18 = 126 mins.
Kane 18/19 = 146 mins, 17/18 = 93 mins.
Lukaku 18/19 = 178 mins, 17/18 = 125 mins.

For his age, DCL is doing pretty well. Richarlison and Tosun also have pretty nice numbers. Niasse's last season was something unbelievable.
