How at any point could anyone look at Calvert-Lewin and draw comparisons with Harry Kane lol. Kane is Champions League Level quality and regularly near the top of the leading scorers charts in the Premier League. Calvert Lewin will never be at that level.
That said, he doesn't have to be as good as Kane. He has some positive attributes and can make a difference off the bench. I'm just delighted that Silva has dropped the notion of him starting games, especially on the left wing. He is simply not good enough to be starting games for Everton at this moment in time, and I am not sure he ever will be.

He can’t shoot, make correct decisions , bring others into play either , shall we ignor that and say he’s boss coz he scored a goal in the U18 World Cup final ?

Look at them at a similar age. Not right now.
Kane was only just getting good-ish now at DCL's age and had 3/4 very poor loan spells previous.
DCL has not had the loan experience due to us not buying a striker when Rom left.
I'm not sure why people aren't getting this. It's not hard.

I reckon we should just discard every young player if he isn't as good as Ronaldo by the age of 15. There's no point in wasting the wages.

(Roughly) Similar games played/goals until the season they were 21 according to wiki.
14/15 (when he was 21/22) Kane scored 21 PL goals in 34, 31/51 overall.
Yeah people don't understand that players get better as they get older. Aubameyang is the same. Barely scored until he was 23, now he's one of the best.

Again, Kane had the experience of loan spells at clubs where he could hone his play. By in large he was turd in these spells too.
But it's just an example. Players will grow at different speeds of course.
But Kane is an example of a player who wasn't great until a certain age. There's lots of them.
DCL COULD be the same. Who knows?!

Think he has actually done quite well this season. Scored a few goals from the bench, changing the games he has done that. Last season he got very valuable experience, in a struggling team. I don't understand the negatively towards him. Young English player, learning the game. Like Jon Joe and Davies.
