He's a decent player, we could do worse than give him a run of games...like we have a choice.

tbh, I see him as a 2nd striker type, who does a lot of 'unseen' work...assuming we would play with 2 strikers, when atm, we don't have any.

And there is a problem with heading it downward? You either aim high or low. You don’t leave it body height or it’s an easy save for the keeper. He was heading it exactly where he needed too and was rewarded with a bit of luck

I think he played a few balls as layoffs to players yesterday who just stood and ball watched.

3 times Walcott stood ball watching as DCL swept or headed balls to the right which were 5 yards in front of him.

Either he needs games as a starter so players get used to him and are on the same wavelength or we need more dynamic players around him.

You said the header travelled “ like a bullet” a bullet header if you will, but like Jesus header. He glanced it, didn’t make the contact he wanted and wasn’t heading in imo. The “ bullet header came from delph

DCL "put himself about a bit" and got involved with a couple of City players. One goal and two chances. He had a good centre-forward's day.
Definitely play him against Spurs.

I think he struggled up front on his own, but when the changes were made and Richarlison joined properly as a 2 he looked a lot more dangerous. As did the team.

Thought he did well throughout. He won a number of knock downs in the first half and beginning of the second, however, he was very isolated. The midfield let him down, one of them were supposed to be the number 2 at any given time. Giving Richarlison the role just highlighted the work he was doing. Well deserved goal.
