Never ending argument with Dom. Same argument from both sides. But here it is again.

The most important two attributes as a striker are to score goals and to utilise your opportunities. And he doesn't do this well enough. HOWEVER - the other attributes to complete a striker, he has got. He is quick, he is strong, he is dominant in the air (and he doesn't even realise it yet), he is good with his back to goal and he has a cracking attitude. If there is any player who can fix/enhance/vastly improve on ability to utilise opportunities by scoring he'll be good enough.

Bang average player scored vs City. Jesus and Sterling also scored so they are bang average. If you score, you are bang average.
Who would you rather have Sterling or Lewin or Jesus or Lewin.

Because he is not good enough.

He will improve over the next 2/3 years & become a more complete footballer...

To write him off now would be a massive mistake...

He has the potential & attributes to become a very good premiership striker...

I am sure you would prefer us to keep our promising young players & develop them for the future rather than discarding them & losing potential premiership players...

Of course I would but Lewin won't come back to haunt us when he goes.

As has been said by many he's a better option than Tosun, suits our system far better and seems to worry defenders a lot more so than him.

I wouldn't mind seeing him up top against Spurs, he'll give us that same type of pace and physicality that Richarlison does and it allows us to have Richarlison out on the left hounding Trippier.
