2018/19 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I'm betting Lewins heart sank when he saw his name on the team sheet last night. I just don't think he fancied it and his demeanor on the pitch proved it. His face in the tunnel gave the game away to me.
Millwall looked as though they itching to get us and we let them, scared out of it to a man (Coleman excepted)

I'm wondering what Big Dunc thinks of this? Never have I seen a moor toothless Everton side in my life.

It's frightening too as I just cannot see where we go from here. 6 months ago I looked at our squad and thought stupidly the strength in depth was going to bode well for us. However the lack of bottle in depth has put paid to that stupid thought.

I like him, and have defended him in the past. But needs a loan to the championship, doesnt want it enough, gets away with it here because of potential. A loan to a team that need him to be at his best will make or break him imo
He’s had enough chances now, he’s just not getting any better and has no real key attributes. Failing to see what he is actually good at.
Easy that one mate, he is best at, being useless at football , and stealing a living as a footballer!

I remember some people on here comparing him to Graeme Sharp.
Why would a championship side want him? He's just played against a side that are struggling in that league and was completely anonymous. I used to think that he was a championship player but, unfortunately, he's not that good (ten times better than Walcott though!!!)

Had a poor game at Millwall...

But has progressed & scored regularly this season, must be given more game time to prove his undoubted ability...

Post of the day

Harsh world being the focal point but when you are you have to want it.

He's not arsed, he does plenty of hiding man runs and hiding man blocks. You've got to want to score goals because it matters, it doesn't matter to him.

Set the tone for the day because he was abysmal at leading the line, played like is expect an 17 year old would thrown in at the deep end
I seriously think he hides because he knows himself, that he is crap, and the least he has the ball , the fewer times it will be proven. Really think he would struggle to get in most pub teams, and I really am serious.

Man City away last season was and will remain the high watermark of his career.
Great abs though and a Hollywood smile - get shut.
