Who’d have thought it eh, a young player getting better the more he plays. Not sure about “play from the back” but defend from the front seems to work.
Love the way he pulls defenders around leaving space for Siggi, but needs to be arriving in the spaces more himself he’s got the pace just needs to be the ball side of defenders at times.

Not falling over nearly as much on the ball has made all the difference really. Same goes for Bernard who had the same exact problem to start the year
17 aerial duels is an absolute madness, I desperately hope he finds a finish because I'd love him to succeed at Everton.

Wouldn't have thought it at the start of the season but he's developing into a very, very good player. Obviously he could stand to score more, but in many ways that isn't how he plays (drops back, doesn't find himself in those classic poacher positions). I think for him to be truly effective we need for him to improve his decision making under pressure that little bit and get wide players who can finish to make up for his lack in that department. Still, very strong showing, good shout for motm in an unusually quality Everton performance.
Really bugging me now how he needs to slot 15+ to be considered worthy of a place at Everton.
He led the line today and if Sig and Richy knew how to slot then we'd have smashed Arsenal.

Mate I love him to bits, but until hes getting double figures in the league I wouldn't class him as "succeeding". Plenty of time for him to do that but I suppose as a young player hes definitely doing the business.
Is it not more important we're succeeding in the PL as a team? Which we are when he plays.

He is, but he needs to start scoring. He does the dirty work fantastically well up front but he does have to chip in with more goals.
Oh I have no doubt he makes us a better team because he offers so much more than just a goal but I'd like him to add that to take him to the next level. I'm in the DCL corner anyway mate btw.
