DCL best position is striker imo....
Would be an absolute menace going forward with pace on the counter & his aerial ability...
Would get goals & hold up play when required....
Imagine Walcott,Richarlison, & DCL on the counter frightening pace....

So strong in the air, this lad has the potential to be a top player & has all the credentials...

people aren't half over egging that stat that DCL has ran the fastest this season, I mean he is fast but people making out he's like bolt!

he could be a great striker if he could finish and were still yet to see that, his second goal v Rotherham was class like so hopefully its getting better

You’d say all 3 of those are really quick players though. I’d advocate trying it out for one match. Could be the start of something.

It's weird. At times last season he played well but couldn't score to save his life, yet he's now scored 3 in 2 without playing especially well at all..

I like the lad, but if he's gonna make it he's going to have to start showing the signs that he's got what it takes to become a top Prem striker.

If he keeps up with 3 in 2 then I think he’ll make it regardless of what signs he shows you.

Just as a quick comparison, at roughly this stage in his career the Saviour of England, Lord Sir Captain Harry of Kane had 21 goals in 91 games, and most of those were at Champ/League 1 level.

DCL has 26 goals in 100 games when you include his time at Sheffield United and 2 loans.

I'm certainly not suggesting he'll be as good a goalscorer as Kane but IMO he has all the attributes for a very good forward - pace, power, gets in good positions, great work rate. Just needs to get a higher level of consistency with his finishing and decision making. It might turn out that he has already peaked with his scoring and will never get double figures - or he might turn into one of the best strikers in the country - or somewhere inbetween - but to judge him right now is madness.

However this is GOT, so go ahead and get your judgemental hats on. :pint2:

How come mate?

There’s just something about the lad. He works hard and takes up good position but he misses that ‘killer’ instinct to go for goal. I know that sounds daft after his last few goals, but I’d like to see him assert himself more and unleash the type of shots that he probably has in his locker. It maybe that he is a bit young and overawed, but he shouldn’t be...

Think I’d start him up top next game if I were managing. The jury is still out on him but he’s got 3 in 2 and Tosun doesn’t look like scoring despite his endeavour.

Have Bernard or Lookman on the left to bring some balance back to the side.
