I like how Tosun gets let off criticism because he works hard and hasn't had good service, but a young and raw striker doesnt.

How about not slating either as both are very good players.

Think I’d start him up top next game if I were managing. The jury is still out on him but he’s got 3 in 2 and Tosun doesn’t look like scoring despite his endeavour.

Have Bernard or Lookman on the left to bring some balance back to the side.

I like him. Needs to continue to work on his finishing but the goal vs Rotherham was fantastic.

He's only had one full season as a PL player. He needs our patience.

harry kane is at a level DCL will never ever reach, he's one of the best strikers in the world, they shouldn't even be compared.

You’d say all 3 of those are really quick players though. I’d advocate trying it out for one match. Could be the start of something.

Certainly think it's something we should be considering away from home, especially against the likes of City, Arsenal and Liverpool who you know will play a high line.

I think he will be given a go through the middle soon, with Richarlison and Walcott/Bernard/Lookman either side of him. He certainly has the potential to be a very good striker, and it's not fair to judge him on that when playing in the left or under gravy head

DCL finishing definitely improves. His link up play is still awful at times but it takes an experience footballer to read the situation and I don’t expect him to link up like sheringham anytime soon.

As Long as his finishing keep improving, I can see him being very successful but he needs regular game time to fully develope. Not sure we have the patience for it.

We better have the patience to develop DCL. and he's working hard, so we don't need to expect too much yet, after he's had a season like last, where her ctually worked hard for not much reward. Absolutely stupid to judge him on last season, and yet he has improved, gone away and worked on his fitness, and looks like he's a positive squad member. That group of 6 England U23's has got potential we have to try and give them time and coaching.

I agree with this but if you were comparing Harry Kane to say Aguero 5 years ago you would say the exact same thing. Point being you just never really know who is going to make the jump from talented youngster to world class player. You can find many posts on this site saying Kane is terrible. Let's not write DCL off yet.

DCL is not a left winger or left midfielder, why he was out there on saturday when we had wide men on the bench was not clear.
When he got in the box with a decent cross he scored,
I think he’s a good partner or alternate with Tosun, play him out of position and still expect him to gain experience in his natural role or expect him to score at the same rate as Kane is not a fair comparison.
