Yes, but if one of the team can do 20 even better.
Not necessarily imo, a striker can score a lot of goals but be a liability to his team if he doesn't contribute in other areas of the pitch

Forget 20 he'll never break double figures in a season in his life
A '20 goal a season striker' is just a standard way of saying a regular goalscorer. Nobody's obsessed with it, nobody is going to use bang on 20 as the metric and think anything less is a failure, it's just a bit of a throwaway line to sum up what people want in a centre forward. Not sure why everything needs to be massively overanalysed these days.
Calvert-Lewin does not look to me like he will ever score a lot of goals, he looks like the type of player who'll be a nuisance and play his part for the team, but not be particularly clinical. No issue with that really, but it would definitely help to have someone who can bag regularly and help us put games to bed.
I seem to remember us not being able to get out of our half. Lucky Crouch went for gold instead of going to the corner flag.I remember that as much as I remember Beattie stinking the place up right up to the point of Bent coming on.
I don’t understand this forum obsession with banging 20 goals in; how often does it happen? Are you crap if you can’t? If he scores 13 next season is he still crap?

You might want to check that.
Indeed, only 4 Strikers broke 20 goals last season and 2 of them played for Liverpool.
Lots of people wanted Jimenez and he scored 13. Lacazette 13. Think people underestimate how uncommon 20+ is for lots of players. That’s 4 players in an entire league last season.
That’s exactly the point, to be elite and genuinely compete for CL spots you need the top level strikers who can win games with goals, which explains why the only forwards who consistently score 20+ a season play for the teams who compete4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 0, 5.
Thats how many times a player has scored more than 20 goals in the last 10 years.
I'd be happy with anything over 10 goals
