I would say the international level does, but of course it matters. It tells me that his 6 in 600 minutes isn’t a fluke. Either way, he’s better than Calvert Lewin from what I can see. Not saying I wouldn’t go with an older player, but his talent is impressive.

Well is DCL poor at international level?

I didn’t say you said he was quality , I said using pundits opinion to judge a players quality. Also a 15-20 goal a season striker is hard to find I have never mentioned that goal return is needed, although onbvioulsy would be great. He is a shocking finisher mate a striker that scores 12-15 like siggy and richy would make a massive difference. You are saying we used a system that took the points against 3 of the top six with DCL in the team? Did you also see the game against the relagated Fulham side where he missed two sitters? Last season was the first time we have had any sort of success against the top teams in the last 20 odd years yet you want to belive it’s suddenly going to become the norm? Against teams the park the bus and don’t attack us , which is 80% of our league games , DCL is cack and we look toothless and struggle to break teams down, we simply cannot afford for our one or two chances to fall to a striker that can’t shoot.

So you didn't bother watching the rest of the team in the Fulham away game? And to any team a striker that scores 15+ is a huge bonus,although where we actually find one at the money we will have to spend is going to be a problem.

Well we found one In richy last season so it can be done and there has to be plenty of players in Europe that are clinical in front of goal that we could attract

Do we have the sort of money that it would take to buy another Richarlison? And if we do can a 15+ goal return be guaranteed? Nowhere on this thread have I ever suggested that DCL should be an automatic starter at CF,but he can fulfill an important role in certain games and given he wasn't an expensive buy and probably on an average contract,the calls to "bin him" are more than slightly misplaced.
 

Is he still here? Drat I meant to put that in the Ademola thread not DCL's. DCL is definitely one for the future, whose future I am not sure.
