I'm quite impressed that he's training on holiday , Last summer he came back much bulkier and fitter, and this year i think he might be working on his sharpness. Impressive young fella glad to see he's working hard. Hopefully Davies Kenny and co get influenced by him

His general work rate and attitude seems first class

Just needs to a slot a couple of times early next season and he'll be off to the races then I reckon

As the debate rumbles on, how much would DCL have to do for you to consider him the real deal & good enough to be our number 9? And how much for him to win over the majoirty of fans?
For me personally I think he needs to weigh in with 15 league goals next season if he his playing most games, keep improving his all round play and then deliver the same again next season.
To win over the majority of fans / this forum I reckon he would need to score 20+ prem goals for 3 consecutive seasons (with at least 8 being against top 10 opposition to satisfy the stats people).

Lukaku managed 15, 10, 18 & 25 prem goals and there was still debate about him, alebit partly to the fact that he never showed much love back to the club.
Harry Kane's breakthrough season was 2014-15 but I personally remember thinking he was just on a hot streak until the end of 2015-16 season when I relented and admitted he was pretty good. I imagine there was still some debate about how good he was from others until even later..

10+ league goals and I'd be very happy with him

I think 10 is an absolute minimum if he's first choice and playing most games as when you consider Sigurdsson and Richy both managed 13/14 last year then I'd say you'd want the same from your striker really. I do get that he does a lot for the team though so if his all round play kept improving and he bagged a few assists and was just in double figures I agree that's a good contribution.

Having DCL, Richy and Siggurdsson all chipping in around 15 league goals would be great for the team, although I still don't thnk it would quell the debate around them.
