So the lad is starting to show some promise now under a better manager, who'd have thought it?

I've been as much a critic as anyone else about lewen and as long as he is scoring goals then he is as good as anyone in his position it's fair to say.

I'm still not convinced by him as mad as it is to say currently. Yes he is proving to be a decent striker and yes he is finally scoring goals regularly. Given how much game time he has had and how much he has wasted in front of goal then law of averages meant he was going to score at some point. Like his second goal today, he nearly messed it up from 5 yards away!

At a contrast with his goal Vs burnely and his second today. My thoughts still seem valid. When lewen has time to think about something it normally goes wrong. When he has to act on instinct then he is far better. Him running in on goal normally has him putting it wide. However ball drops and he just has to react? Goals

It's that division that needs to be merged for him. He needs to be able to do both, maybe then he starts to look the part.

He's Silva's Naismith - limited player who gets game time because he runs around alot.

However it must be said DCL doesn't pick himself - you're making me hate Bambi Marco stop picking him ahead of an actual goalscorer.

Lads a joker but he doesnt pick himself - Silva hasn't the guts to drop him at present therefore we'll continue to struggle infront of goal.
