2019/20 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Dont like how his last sentence is all about his individual goal tally.

Can you imagine the likes of Sharp/Gray/Sheedy/Steven/Fergie/Cahill even mentioning that after yet another debacle.

Mate, have you ever seen Cahill on social media? Or followed his career path post Everton? Love the man but he’s all about the self promotion and chasing of the loot. Dom has held his hands up and apologised (effectively for the failings of his team mates) but is trying to find positives and move on. Definitely not the player to target for criticism.

This is just silly, he is a striker. If we win and he doesn't score i would want him to feel gutted. If we lose and he scores i would want him to take confidence from his goal. Not like he is jumping for joy or something

I think Ferguson must take some credit for his more robust style of play myself.

Quite possibly, but in the main it has to be Ancelotti's approach that's made the difference. After all, he does have a reputation of being a great man-manager. Same goes with Kean; he's instilled confidence in the kid and it's finally coming to fruition.
DCL and Richarlison turn 23 in March and May, respectively, and Kean turns 20 at the end of February. That could be a front three to rival that across the park in the not-too-distant future.

I obviously acknowledge DCL has been a big positive this season.

But, maybe I'm old school or the world has moved on.

I just cant imagine a real winner/team player finishing a post about your own successful stats when you are member of a team that has just put in its 2nd utterly shameful display in a couple of weeks.

He didn’t even have to apologise though - he did his job.
